Abstract
The vulnerability of road pavements and transport systems to climate
change impacts depends on their
impact response. Abnormal weather events like floods and storms have occurred
in recent years,
causing disturbance and damage. Important tasks for consideration are as
follows: contingency planning,
revision of design criteria, improvement of pavements and structures to ensure
the service level and adaptation of maintenance operations.
