    Abstract

We present the results of the re-implementation of the collision-history based perturbation/sensitivity calculation capabilities from an extended version of Serpent 2.1.19 to the official Serpent 2 distribution. Until this re-implementation, the capabilities were only available in several unofficial extended Serpent versions. In order to improve the usability, maintainability and the performance of the routines, they were included in the official Serpent distribution. In this paper we will give an overview of the status of the new implementation as it is in Serpent 2.1.30, describe two optimizations made during the re-implementation and verify the new implementation by comparing energy dependent sensitivity profiles calculated with Serpent 2.1.19 (extended) and Serpent 2.1.30 in three test problems. The test calculations also showcase the improved computational performance of the implementation.
