Abstract
The Colornet software helps both newspaper printers and
newspaper ad agencies ensure the stable and reliable
quality of tbeir printed products. Colornet is based on
the spectrophotometric control of grey balance and the
company colour with a portable spectrophotometer The
target values are defined as CIE-Lab values, which can be
distributed to the printing sites over the Internet. The
Colornet measuring module helps printers adjust the ink
feed so that the predefined Lab-values are reached.
