    Abstract

    In the above paper, Patzelt and Arndt have presented a theory for the analysis of rectangular waveguide structures consisting of cascaded double-plane step discontinuities. The theory is based on Dr. Patzelt's dissertation. The presentation of the theory contains several errors.
