Abstract

The objective was to identify existing LCA studies, review them and prepare a compilation report. The results are presented in accordance with the following end uses: electricity, space heating and transportation. Combined production of electricity and district heating has also been studied. Emissions that have been considered are greenhouse gases, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particles and greenhouse gases.
