Abstract
The complete scattering matrix of a circular polarizer is presented. Because the effects of different quantities such as reflection coefficients and insertion losses in both planes, phase error, phaseshift and attenuation and mechanical position errors of the devices are considered, the expressions derived can be used for differential phase shifters.
