    Abstract

EKB-SEIS is a web-based database that aims to facilitate access to research on socio-economic aspects of ISTs. The primary objective of EKB-SEIS is to increase the usability of socio-economic research for the European policy and RTD communities. The leading question that has guided the construction of this database is: what are the important lines of socio-economic research on ISTs in Europe that are also relevant to policy making and to RTD strategies?
