Abstract
The national-standard-class measuring system for the
impulse voltage measurements in Japan was developed in
1999, and its performance has been evaluated annually
supported by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
(METI). The system has participated in the worldwide
comparison tests and its good performance has been
confirmed. The low voltage calibration system which is
the part of the standard measuring system was compared
among 4 countries in a different series of international
comparison tests, and the domestically-evaluated low
uncertainty of the Japanese system was proved to be
reliable.
In this paper, the details and the results of the
international comparison tests on low voltage impulse
carried out in 2004 and 2005 are reported.
