Abstract
New R&D Annex on “Design and Operation of Power Systems with Large
Amounts of Wind Power Production” is formed within “IEA Implementing Agreement
on the Co-operation in the Research, Development and Deployment of Wind
Turbine Systems”. This R&D annex will collect and share information on the
experience gained and the studies made, with analyses and guidelines on
methodologies. The ultimate objective is to provide information to facilitate
the highest economically feasible wind energy penetration within power
systems. The poster will introduce this important international collaboration
and present the first findings on the state-of-the-art.
