    Abstract

The scope of the EU-funded LUMENTILE project is to combine custom electronics, optics and ceramic tiles into programmable high efficiency luminous elements which can be mass manufactured. In this report, different designs and validation results of the light guide structures for 20x20 cm2 luminous tiles for large area displays and luminaires are presented.
