Abstract
Design aspects of a broadband GaAs monolithic receiver circuit operating at L-band are discussed. The circuit consists of a low-noise amplifier, buffer amplifier, and mixer. Various measures taken to minimize the DC-power consumption are described. Operation with less than 100 mW has been simulated.
