    Abstract

In this short survey paper we first describe the general requirements of intelligent agent systems, and especially the requirements of ubiquitous intelligent agents. We also give an general overview of the state-of-art of the agent design. The purpose of this paper is to give an overview of the current design methods, which generally are based on object-oriented design methodologies, and try to raise discussion on the important design issues of intelligent agent systems.
