Abstract

During this project a new two-phase crushing line was developed and built by Joutsan Konepalvelu Oy and VTT Processes. In tests 1398 chip-m3 of wood fuel was made from logging residues, demolition wood waste, forest stumps, and arboricultural residues. Average production capacity was from 40 to 100 chip-m3/h depending on material and energy use 0,6-1,0 kWh/chip-m3 in crushers and 0,9-1,8 kWh/chip-m3 in whole production line including hydraulic feeding crane.
