Abstract

This paper shows a validation exercise made with propeller 4119 from David Taylor model basin. An interesting feature of the paper is that the pressure coefficients on the blades are calculated using two methods, pressure-based and velocity-based, being the latter the one that must be used in the comparison with experimental tests made in Jessup's doctoral thesis.
