Abstract

Short term bending tests have been carried out for Kerto laminated veneer lumber. The bending strength and modulus of elasticity values achieved will serve as the reference values when long term tests are conducted. As for other wooden materials the bending strength and modulus of elasticity will reduce when the moisture content increases. Depth and length were found to have an effect on bending strength but no effect on modulus of elasticity.
