    Abstract

Effective maintenance is the foundation of sustainable manufacturing. With condition based maintenance (CBM) the overall efficiency of production machinery can be kept high and the environmental load low. However, using CBM in practice is not an easy task and a lot of information to support this strategy is needed. The DynaWeb platform, created in an integrated EU project Dynamite, is a toolbox that provides the necessary tools to enable the maintenance operator the access to all information they need and also enable them the capability of reporting their work. The paper presents the key elements of DynaWeb: Mimosa database, Web Services and their efficient use from mobile devices - e.g. Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs)- or other Predictive Maintenance Management Systems.
