    Abstract

    Thermochemical and biochemical technologies offer new possibilities for increasing the use of biomass for high-efficiency power and heat production as well as in producing cost-effective renewable fuels for the transport sector. The R&D needs of different individual technologies and an overview of the long-term vision is given in the report
