    Abstract

Short presentation on request about the energy efficient buildings and their indoor conditions from user health perspective. VTT research results and conclusions show that energy efficient buildings can have safe moisture performance, high thermal insulation level does not increase the risks for moisture problems. Air tightness of the building envelope is a key element to ensure sufficient ventilation. Closing down the ventilation outside occcupation hours may cause severe risks in indoor climate.
