Abstract

The paper presents the results of a project in which three risk assessment case studies have been carried out in three different technological domains, that is, space systems, chemical process plants, and marine transportation. The main objective of the project was to investigate the feasibility of the ESA technical risk management methodology and the new ERES prototype software tool while providing hands-on experience of its application. The recent developments of the ERES software are also described.
