title = "Evaluation of intelligent systems for the utilisation of HAZOP analysis results",
abstract = "In every industry sector, companies need to find ways to operate profitably and safely. Risk management offers a way of combining profitability and responsibility. However, no industrial company can afford to spend extensive amounts of time and money on safety and reliability studies — the collection of data and the preparation of the relevant documents. Advanced information technology is needed to make the necessary information acquisitions and processing activities more efficient — and includes data collection systems, and model-based simulation and safety analysis systems. As described in this paper, part of the study focused on the evaluation of both an intelligent HAZOP system and a dynamic process simulator in order to know how the systems could support hazard studies.",
