Abstract

The symposium Fatigue Design 1995, will be held on September 5-8, 1995 in Helsinki. The topic of the symposium is the design of structures and machine components subjected to cyclic loading. The presentations report new technological developments, new applications of existing technologies and case studies to achieve novel solutions to fatigue problems. These three volumes consist of a total of 76 papers originating from 27 countries. They deal with subjects related to component reliability, multiaxial fatigue, notch analysis, probabilistic aspects, service loading, component testing, life improvement and fatigue design optimization. Special emphasis is given to fatigue of welded structures, case studies and ground vehicle components.
