    Abstract

In Finland one focus on remanufacturing is in work machine manufacturing companies, whose customers are private enterprises or companies. Remanufacturing within work machine business can typically be described as Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or contracted "official" contractors/agents. Companies see lots of benefits with this business model. Main advantage comes from customer's acceptance, because of the quality and the warranty, which the true original equipment manufacturer offers. Sustainability aspects such as reduced environmental impacts and native labour force support and facilitate remanufacturing.
