Abstract

Filtration properties of a high-volume industrial aerosol filter (PULSE-Clean, AAF) with constant flowrate (50,000 m 3 h- 1) were investigated. The object was to find out if the cleaning level is sufficient in a smelter environment, where high aerosol concentrations may occur. In addition to collection efficiency measurements, filter sampling was carried out to determine fine and coarse particle elemental collection efficiency.
