Abstract
VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland has over 20 years of experience in organizational safety research. This paper presents VTT’s practical experience in assessing safety culture and supporting safety culture development in decommissioning projects. It integrates safety culture-related insights from VTT's own FiR 1 research reactor decommissioning project and from multiple decommissioning projects in the European Union.
