The ongoing four-year research programme SAFIR2014 has an annual volume of about 70 person-years, of which VTT's contribution is 50 person-years. In 2012 research was conducted in 42 pro jects, 35 of which were managed by VTT. VTT is also responsible for the administration of the programme.
