Abstract
The functional architecture model for the DRIVEMODE project was developed based on the analysis of the project primary requirement. The Integration Definition for Function Modelling (IDEFO) technique was used to identify system functions and their interactions, and to provide an approach to develop a model-based Interface Management (IM).
For the model-based Interface Management (IM), the concept of systems integration, a part of systems engineering was used implicating the Contact and Channel Model (C&CM) technique in identifying and validating the DRIVEMODE drivetrain system interfaces.
