Abstract
This paper summarises 'Future Scenarios for Border
Control Process' session held at the WIBC workshop in
Uppsala 14th of August, 2013. The objective of the
session was to brainstorm and innovate new options for
future border control processes in different border
types. The session targeted at creating sce-narios on how
border control can reconcile future requirements: more
passengers, fewer border guards, higher risks, increased
expectation from customers and infrastructure operators,
reduced resources, more responsibility to prevent harm.
