In this paper a fuzzy model is developed for a rotary dryer. The model is implemented using Linguistic Equations (LE) approach. The method is suitable for the modelling of the rotary dryer with fast tuning properties. The model is applied to a pilot plant rotary dryer located in Control Engineering Laboratory at Oulu University.
