Abstract

This paper presents results from Mission Innovation IC#1 Smart Grids. Within Task “Demand Response”, a global survey has been conducted in order to clarify the current status of demand response as well as to identify common challenges for its integration into the operation of the power system and align joint research activities accordingly. The survey has been conducted as a questionnaire which has gathered answers from national experts globally. This paper summarizes the key results and analysis on common aspects and their implementation in coming joint activities.
