Abstract

The magnetostriction and magnetomechanical coupling (k) in the Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 strips annealed from 300°C to 600°C were investigated. Values of k as high as 0.73 were observed. Magnetostriction dropped from 25×10−6 to 2.5×10−6. Nanocrystalline structure was observed.
