Abstract

IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) established a technical committee for wearable biomedical sensors and systems (WBS) in 2004. This position paper presents the TC's view over the WBS, and shortly introduces its plan of actions. The purpose is to raise awareness of the community in this subject and to encourage collaboration to progress the research and developments in the domain of WBS.
