Abstract
This paper presents a new time-of-flight-based imaging lidar for measurements in the 5-100 m range. The paper describes the concept of the device, shows the design of the time-to-digital converter for parallel time-interval measurements and presents the sensor breadboard. Test results showing sensor performance are also discussed. Although the device is developed for future space applications it can also be used for numerous industrial measurements.
