    Abstract

Resilience has become a widely adopted concept in risk, security and safety management. It describes an organisation's ability to anticipate, monitor and respond to threats and opportunities. Resilience has been defined as a firm's ability to dynamically reinvent business models and strategies as the business environment changes, to continuously anticipate and adjust to changes and to change before the need becomes critical.
