Abstract
The VIII International Symposium of the CIB Working Group 66 and UIA
Working Group "Working Places and Commercial Spaces" was entitled "Industrial
Planning, Engineering and Construction under Extreme Circumstances" and was
organised by the Technical Research Centre of Finland.In the General Sessions
interaction of industrial planning, engineering and construction with the
society, new technologies and physical environmental conditions as well as
safety problems were discussed.Papers were presented under three subthemes.
Cold Regions, Hot Regions and Regions with Special Ground Conditions.Totally
34 papers were presented during the Symposium.
