    Abstract

Industrial automation systems are showing a strong trend towards convergence and networking. Infrastructures and devices with standardized implementations are increasingly being used in the industrial environment where traditionally isolated solutions have been used before. Information security management has become an important concern in the field. We are investigating the challenges of information security management in a modern industrial automation environment.
