Abstract
Massive amounts of information are transmitted through telecommunication networks, both inside the organisation and in the shared and external networks of co-operating organisations. Because of digital convergence, the complexity and number of interfaces are increasing, resulting in an increased need for management of the system as a whole. Different kinds of joint operation agreements between organizations require shared network resources and defined procedures to handle them. We propose a framework for risk and information security management and assurance that enables more aggregated and systematic information security-related practices.
