Abstract

We present a novel microfluidic chip that combines liquid chromatography (LC) column and heated nebulizer on a single chip. The heated nebulizer enables ionization using either atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) or atmospheric pressure photoionization (APPI) prior to detection by mass spectrometry (MS). The integrated chip is based on our previously presented separate LC and heated nebulizer chips.
