Abstract
A new type of retention-aid mixer composed of static wedge-shaped elements is presented. The performance of the mixer is studied with numerical simulations, mixing experiments in pilot-scale flow lines and in a mill-scale experiment. Clearly better mixing efficincy to traditional T-mixing in found, and obvious improvements in the end-product quality is observed.
