    Abstract

Roll-to-roll manufacturing has been demonstrated to be an efficient production method for several electronics components (etc. antennas, sensors, displays). For sensor system production silicon based microelectronics is still needed for more complex functions, like communication. The architechture and key components in printed sensor system are presented. Additionally resistive printed sensor and capacitive proximity sensing systems are demonstrated.
