    Abstract

Printed diagnostics. The aim was to develop a diagnostic platform which allows rapid, easy-to-use quantitation of blood analyte. CRP (C-reactive protein) was used as model analyte. The enabling technology was roll-to-roll printing and assembly demonstrated by VTT's pilot lines. Mobile device. Cost of the reader device can be reduced to a very low level using inbuilt functionalities of users personal smart phone. A cloud connected mobile phone enables data transfer and calibration of the low cost test strip. This makes it possible to measure CRP accurately with a simple device
