Abstract
Intermodal transport is an important topic due to
continuously increasing attention to environmental
concerns and the need for more sustainable transport
modes. Many challenges have to be resolved before the
intermodal transport can significantly increase its share
in freight transport. In the EURIDICE project will be
addressed one of the most important challenges, the
information flow between the different stakeholders and
the transportation itself as well as the management
system of intermodal transportation. There are
exceptionally many players involved in the intermodal
transport and for this reason fluent information flow
including the management support are crucial.
