Abstract

The material web machine has a press section consisting of two individual presses. A waterproof, surface smoothness belt is looped around an upper roller of the press nip of the latter press. The web (W) is placed at the belt surface in the press nip for adherence. The web is guided into an upward direction to a transfer position (S11) of a dryer section at the belt. An independent claim is included for a method in a material web machine, with which the press section is formed from two individual presses.
