Abstract
A modified method for the simultaneous measurement of positive and negative air ions has been developed. A single aspiration condenser has been used in constructing a compact instrument for the studies concerning the behaviour of small ions in indoor air. The principle of the ion measuring technique is discussed. The construction of the ion meter is described and possible problems of ion measurements are commented. Examples of the measurement results have been included.
