    Abstract

The GHz radio frequency filters are usually made by connecting several bulk acoustic wave (BAW) resonators to a ladder form. The harmonic oscillations became significant in the BAW resonator when the resonator are driven with high power. The intermodulation in the BAW resonators caused by the harmonic oscillations of several signal frequencies may distort the radio signal in the filter. In this study the power levels of the second and the third harmonic oscillations near the resonance frequencies of BAW resonators have been measured. These harmonic oscillation results are compared with results at the intermodulation.
