Abstract

This paper presents solid-state memcapacitor realized as a memristor-MIM capacitor hybrid. Using frequency analysis and simulations we find that the proposed structure operates correctly within a specific range of angular frequencies that depends on the device parameters. Furthermore, we present a pulse-based programming method which allows the proposed memcapacitor to be fabricated as a two-terminal device
