Abstract

Herein is provided a method in which sterile cultured plant cells suitable for human consumption are fermented with fermenting microbe(s) suitable for human consumption in a fermentation mixture to obtain fermented plant cells. Fermented cultured plant cells obtainable by the method are also provided.
