This paper describes how the methodology is set-up for the evaluation in the project with the large-scale testing at several pilot sites using 100 automated cars with SAE Level 3 functions. L3Pilot project follows the FESTA V-process methodology of setting up and implementing tests adapting the methodology to suit the project needs of evaluated impacts of automated driving functions. This paper describes the steps needed in setting it up in practice.
