    Abstract

    This case describes how case company tackled the challenges of idea harvesting in a global innovation environment. The global innovation management database proved successful at case company. An efficient process and database for collecting product ideas, transforming them into realizable features and assigning them to practical development projects is essential to effective product development. It is therefore important that tools that support the innovation process are in active use by all the relevant stakeholders.
