Abstract
The presentation reviews the approach and results of two EU projects, MIMOSA and MINAmI. In MIMOSA, an open mobile-phone centric technology platform has been built for services and applications of ambient intelligence. In MINAmI, healthcare application demonstrators are built on the platform. The projects emphasis and develop the human-centric design approach to ambient intelligence.
