Abstract
The presentation is a short introduction to ambient intelligence and mobile-centric ambient intelligence in particular. The presentation points out some possibilities for biometrics research in this feld. The approach, goals and results of two EU projects, MIMOSA and MINAmI, are reviewed as examples of mobile-centric ambient intelligence.
